FAQ’S

How do I book?

You can book your pitch by using the booking form below this section. If you have any questions or queries, please send an email to contact@heckingtonpavilion.com

When can I arrive or depart?

Campers can arrive from Wednesday 24th July and depart at the latest date of Monday 29th July 2024.

We accept arrivals strictly between the hours of 12:00 to 18:00, although provisions can be made outside of these times, but require confirmation from the site prior to arriving to ensure there is a member of the team to check you in.

Can I bring my dog?

At Heckington Pavilion, we are dog lovers ourselves, although as these are playing fields, we need to remind our campers of some rules.

There has been a special dispensation made for campers attending Heckington Show whereas the normal rule of NO DOGS ON THE PLAYING FIELDS, is temporarily paused for campers.

However, dogs attending with campers must be kept on leads at all times when not inside the confides of your tent, caravan, motorhome or vehicle.

There will be dog wardens patrolling and a fine may be incurred and removal from site for anyone caught breaching this rule.

What about waste removal?

We will have facilities for you to dispose of both rubbish and waste. There will be a skip on site for all general waste and an Elsan point for all chemical waste.

Can we get a pitch with our friends?

We would recommend that when booking, you inform us of any ‘group bookings’ so we can plan. That being said, when you arrive, please inform us of how many other pitches/friends you are planning to camp with so we can allocate you the correct spacing and ensure you are with your group.

What are the payment details?

You will be required to pay for the entirety of your stay prior to your first night. This can be paid in several ways.

If paying on arrival, you can pay by cash or card when you get there and speak to a member of the team who will then show you to your pitch.

If you wish to pay prior to arrival, you can pay by bank transfer.

If you decide to increase your stay, you will need to pay for the remaining nights prior to the first night of your extended stay.

Can we use generators?

Yes, we allow the use of generators onsite, although these are restricted to certain times of the day.

As we have neighbouring houses on 2 sides of the playing fields, we would ask that the generators are only used to top up batteries between the hours of 10:00 and 20:00.
